Teapot or Pepperpot

I have been trying to work out whether Ed[ward] Miliband is some kind of pot. The first clue came from this teapot impression...

...which is certainly a lot better than his brother's attempt...

Then it clicked: Ed has a lot in common with the "pepperpot" Tombliboos from In The Night Garden.. I present here the photographic evidence to back this up, apart from one of Ed actually door-knocking. I assume he does do so, and just hasn't been caught on camera; but the first pic here is of his being directed toward a front door (I think).

Anyway, let's test it out, with the Tombliboos' rhyme...
