Eggs for Soldiers

I recently discovered the excellent Eggs for Soldiers initiative, which gives 15 pence to Help for Heroes for every pack of these six eggs sold (pictured at left) and pro rata for larger packs.

This might not seem to be very much; but if just a million households in Britain bought only one pack of six of these eggs per month, that would bring in nearly two million Pounds a year.

Some supermarkets are now stocking these eggs *, which are free range, so do look out for them – and pass the word on to others!

* Currently Asda, Morrisons and Tesco
