When the supposed "cash for ministerial access" story broke in The Telegraph a day or two ago, and was lapped up by the predictable sections of the mainstream media, I wondered how to respond without coming across as tribal or partisan.
By today I still hadn't worked out an appropriate approach; but I needn't have worried as Chris Hawes at The Blue Idea has done a great job of nailing this one, as has James Cleverly. There really is nothing for me to add...
