Things Could Only Get Better

That's how it was before the recent General Election, and the clues are out and about that the British public is becoming ever more pleased with and impressed by the new Government.

This TwitPic photo (by Tim Montgomerie) of ordinary but happy people listening to David Cameron is one such clue.

Another is the improved approval rating for the Coalition Government from 69% to 75% in the past two weeks.

Despite a bumpy ride in places (not unusual for a new government, to be fair) it looks like we are at last heading in the right general direction. It won't be perfect from now on, but the trend will be broadly in the direction of improvement, and will no doubt be refined over time.
