Final Polls

There are eight last-day polls in this evening, mostly very close to each other and generally with a Conservative lead over Labour of 7% or 8%.

Especially with the (fairly late) pro-Con surge in the marginals, and some tactical voting unusually benefiting the Conservatives, yjis looks like it will be enough for a small but usable overall majority, despite what the pundits are still claiming.

A hung parliament is still a possible outcome, but it doesn't look all that likely now.

  1. Today's the day, JW, no more Gordoom.... yippee!

I'm taking what the "pundits" are saying with a pinch of salt - most of them are Lefties with a vested interest in seeing a hung parliament so, as far as I'm concerned, I just don't believe them.

All we have to worry about now is lowlife Labour vote-rigging.
