No doubt Lefties love this frankly nasty (but so typical!) Skinner-ism, contributing nothing of value. It's entirely consistent with what I wrote earlier today regarding behaviour...
That, I suspect, has hit the nail squarely on the head!
The Left thrive on hatred: it is just about the only thing they consistently do well. Skinner will indeed be secretly pleased to be back in opposition at last...
I remember them very well, and I liked them! It was my favourite of the week's programmes at that time of day, which range from Picture Book on Mondays to The Woodentops on Fridays.
Rag, Tag and Bobtail, Andy Pandy, and Billy Bean and his Funny Machine were the others.
It is interesting that "The Beast" uses the term in a derogatory manner, as more modern commenters abuse the term "Muppet" in a way that is insulting to Kermit, Rowlf and the rest of the gang...

Looks like Skinner's judgement was not a million miles away from the truth in light of recent developments!
ReplyDeleteListening to it again, I still cannot perceive anything therein that has any validity. I am even old enough to remember "Rag, Tag and Bobtail".
ReplyDeletePerhaps I've missed something in those forty-odd seconds...
