Joining the Euro

Good spot by Donal Blaney!

You might recall that a few weeks ago I mentioned the possibility that Gordon Brown would seek to join Britain to the Euro. Well, it looks as though it might now be happening. All part of the Master Plan...

As Donal says in his short article, there is no potential benefit to Britain if we were to join; but that won't stop this going ahead — and, just like the Constitutional Treaty, we won't be asked for our okay via a Referendum.

This will be yet another flexing of political muscles by the dictatorship in Downing Street and its masters in Brussels, and who can stop it?

Every single last one of us, we must not allow Brown to add the last nail to the coffin.

I agree, Mrs S (and by the way, it's great to see you posting regularly again) but what can we do? I have recently joined Facebook and there is a group there called Petition Her Majesty The Queen to dissolve Parliament, but it has only 37 members. It was created at least as long ago as last March.

By contrast, there are three "support Damian Green" type groups, each with several hundred members already. It is going to very difficult to stop Brown and his cronies; but I am open to suggestions.
