Cameron's New Year Message

So the New Year's messages have now been put out by the three main national political parties' leaders. They are easy enough to find, and there is a fair amount of dissection of them in the media, as one would expect.

This comment on David Cameron's, in the Daily Mail, is probably the most interesting overall, even though it is comparatively uncritical, as in the process it leaves more scope for one to apply a bit of analysis oneself, though for now I intend to leave it alone. I might have a go tomorrow, and at the offerings from the other two (Brown and Clegg).

The points Cameron are reported to have made are certainly valid, and it is perhaps a good time to make them all together in a public manner. It is about time the gloves came off, before our country sinks even further into the (largely Brown-created) mire. The only problem is that, without a General Election in prospect, there is nothing that Cameron or anyone outside the Labour Government can do to even begin to repair the colossal damage that has already been done.

If only it were possible for the population to compel a dissolution of Parliament...

The public could force an election if only they had the bottle to take to the streets in mass protest. Problem is half of them are sleep walking to oblivion.

That's what Brown and Co want, actually.

It's a known part of the long ago pre-arranged plan to induce street riots, to give them the excuse to introduce "emergency" draconian laws and other such measures (including suspending elections), as I have written in the past. They will simply round-up all the dissidents and take them out of the picture.

No: we have to out-smart them and find a way that will work. There has to be a way...
